A Course in Miracles - Keeping it Simple

keep it simple

Practicing A Course in Miracles can sometimes feel like a never-ending search for controversy. Our egos often seeks to complicate the teachings unnecessarily. It's tempting to stray beyond the core principles, getting caught up in finding the "right" interpretation or perfect application of the lessons. However, there's enough forgiveness to be done in a lifetime without making it complicated.

The real power of A Course in Miracles lies in its simplicity. The course teaches that all answers are found by looking inward and recognizing our spiritual nature, not by changing external circumstances. When we succumb to the ego's need to complicate things, we miss the opportunity to truly embody and practice the course's message of love, forgiveness, and inner peace.

The key is approaching the teachings with an open and receptive mindset, allowing the course's wisdom to unfold naturally. Rather than seeking controversy or the "right" way, we can trust the process and let the lessons guide us towards a deeper understanding of ourselves and our divine connection.

Resist the urge to overcomplicate things. Trust the process and focus on the core teachings. There you'll find the peace and clarity you seek. Don't let the ego lead you down unnecessary rabbit holes. Keep it simple, stick to the lessons and readings, and stay the course by practicing true forgiveness every day.
