Control and A Course in Miracles

Control and A Course in Miracles

When it comes to finding peace, we often fall into the trap of trying to control others. We believe that if we can just manipulate people or situations to our liking, then we will finally experience inner peace. However, A Course in Miracles teaches us a different perspective.

True peace comes from within and cannot be achieved by trying to control anyone or changing external circumstances. Instead of seeking external validation or attempting to manipulate others, the course teaches us to focus on our own thoughts and beliefs.

By recognizing that our perception creates our reality, A Course in Miracles encourages us to shift our mindset and choose love over fear. It reminds us that when we let go of the need for control and surrender to a higher power, we open ourselves up to experiencing true peace and miracles in our lives.

One of the key principles of the Course is the idea that our true power lies not in trying to control our surroundings, but rather in surrendering to a higher power. When we try to control everything and everyone around us, we often find ourselves feeling stressed, anxious, and frustrated. We may think that by exerting control, we can ensure a certain outcome or protect ourselves from disappointment. However, A Course in Miracles reminds us that this illusion of control is ultimately futile. It encourages us to focus on changing our perception and releasing any judgments we may hold. By doing so, we can tap into a deeper sense of inner peace and allow life to unfold naturally.

So next time you catch yourself trying to control every aspect of your surroundings or another person, take a step back and ask what you are really trying to change, or perhaps just even start by focusing on what is right about someone. Focus on what you are grateful for to begin to change your mindset.

Remember that you are not in control. Embrace surrender and trust that everything will work out as it is meant to be.
